Paperless-ngx takes in scanned and digital documents, reads the text with OCR, sorts them by correspondent, document type and tags, and makes the archive searchable. Documents arrive from a scanner, a mailbox or an upload.

Can I get my documents out if I leave?
Yes. Documents are stored as ordinary files and can be exported together with their metadata.
